Serving Nassau County Since 1975
The Wool Law Group welcomes you and hopes to meet your legal needs. We take pride in the way we treat our clients and the results we get in the practice of criminal law. As a family-owned and operated law firm, we understand how criminal allegations affect not only the accused but their loved ones. We understand what's at stake, and we do everything in our power to minimize the consequences.
Attorney N. Richard Wool established his own law practice on Long Island in 1975. He practices with his daughter, Alissa Joy Wool, the second of his daughters to follow their father into the legal field. Today we serve clients in not only Nassau and Suffolk County, but the New York City metro area, Westchester County and Hudson Valley, Upstate New York and statewide. In fact, many of our clients are out-of-state drivers and trucking and freight companies based outside of New York that are facing criminal sanctions for violations of trucking and traffic laws.
We Are Always Ready to Help
We have a diverse legal practice, but we have chosen to concentrate in criminal defense, including trucking violations that are considered crimes under New York and federal law. Our focus is always on minimizing the penalties and preventing a conviction from ruining the future of our client.
We are available night or day, because we understand the urgency and anxiety when a spouse or child has been arrested for a crime, or if you believe you are in the cross hairs of law enforcement investigators. From DUI and drug possession to major fraud prosecutions, Richard Wool brings over 35 years of experience and the full resources of his firm to your aid.
We practice regularly in the county courts at Mineola and Hempstead, and in criminal and traffic courts throughout Long Island and Queens. In trucking law, our lawyers can represent clients in any jurisdiction in the state of New York.
We like to say that "Where there's a Wool, there's a way." Through diligence, strategy and vigorous defense, we believe in our ability to improve your legal position and perhaps beat the charges. Find out how we can help by calling 516-806-5537 (Long Island) or 877-412-5210 (toll free). We offer a free initial consultation, including evenings or weekends by appointment.
